Mission

Equip the offline economy with foundational intelligence.

About Pascal

The offline economy is a $2T industry in the U.S. that runs on dated workflows.

Someone right now is logging into yet another data portal. Every single time, the same files are waiting: screenshots buried in PDFs and fax scans. They download the file, search for related files from what they’ve already downloaded, and key in details into another decade-old spreadsheet.

Multiply that across individuals, business functions, and all their customer relationships. At scale, these bottlenecks manifest as cash left on the table, missed sales opportunities, and empty shelves.

That data is scattered across dozens of archaic portals, in formats hard on human eyes and even harder for legacy software to read. No one has tackled the messiness at its core.

The foundational data layer unlocking agents doesn’t yet exist in the offline economy. We, Matt and Rick, founded Pascal to build it.

Team

We are a nimble yet decisive team. We were top math and science olympiad competitors from MIT who built and led at companies like Meta, Glean, Blackstone, and Marshall Wace.

We’ve built large-scale data pipelines processing billions of documents daily across hundreds of external sources. We’ve invested across the physical economy. In every corner of it, we found the same need: a proper data foundation.

We’re backed by leading Silicon Valley investors and category-defining operators. Together, we’re rewiring the industry.

Values

Radically Candid

We are direct, specific, and constructive with each other.

Seek the Truth

We acknowledge hypotheses, identify truths, and act decisively.

The Compounding Principle

Everything we do compounds. We take the long view and create the steepest slope today.

Find the Path

When things get difficult, there always exists a way through. We find the path.
